Sports West Programs
Fitness & Weight Conditioning Programs:
Within our health club facility, you'll find Nautilus, Icarian and Cybex equipment,
free weights. a cardiovascular center and special programs designed to lead
you towards attaining life-long health and fitness habits. We also offer
individually tailored fitness programs to accomodate your particular needs. Each
month, Sports West offers a variety of specialty programs and events including health
education seminars and guest instructors.
Personal Trainers:
Sports West offers you certified personal trainers who attend on-going
educational seminars to provide you with the most current techinques in
weight loss and strength training. We have trainers who specialize in particular needs,
such as weight loss, toning, body building. endurance event training and training for
the elderly. You will receive one-on-one attention for the motivation you need for
faster results.
Aerobic, Cycling, Yoga and Mat Pilates Classes:
All classes are taught by certified aerobics instructors in our spacious aerobic
center on a special designed floor for your maximum safety and injury prevention.
Classes range from beginning to advanced. You may choose from several time slots and
attend which ever classes fit into your schedule.
Pilates
The Pilates equipment includes springs and sliding platforms which use your
own body weight to provide resistance. each seeion is under the supervision of your
instructor and will be individually tailored to your needs. Pilates recenters and realigns
the body,improves the posture, increases flexibility, strength, balance and circulation, thus
draining tension from your neck and shoulders.
Youth Fitness
Youth ages 8-12 & teens, 13 to 17 years old must have a dependent membership in order
to participate in this great Youth Fitness Program. Each young adult will have the
benefit of one or two one-hour training sessions with our qualified fitness staff.
They will learn how fitness can improve health, mental attitude and sports performance.
