I especially like this series because they highlight many of the issues that I have been complaining about for years!
For example, you will see on www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/siu/shows/fed.up/
an article about the direct correlation between highly sweetened beverages and obesity. All of those sodas are adding up to
make our fellow Americans weigh a lot more than they should! And, last night there was a segment on the lack of availablity of
fresh produce in many of America's underpriviliged neighborhoods and how some people are growing their own produce in community
gardens. Both the television reports and the CNN website are worth digging into and reading, as they are shedding light on obesity,
a growing problem in the US, and, more importantly, the measures we can take to try and stop it!
