Our Classes

At Sports West, we offer a wide variety of Group Fitness, Indoor Cycling, Yoga and Pilates Classes. Our Fitness classes offer a total body workout in a fun, energetic atmosphere and are designed to burn fat, increase metabolism and imporve cardio fitness. Muscle conditiong exercises for the upper and lower body and cool-down stretches are done to increase strength and flexibility. All classes will take a heart rate count. This allows you to determine if you are working within your target heart range!

Aerobics Classes

Turbo Kick:
Our newest class at Sports West! This Revolutionary group exercise program has changed the direction of Kick-boxing! This class is inspired by dance, tai-chi and funk. This workout creates a party atmosphere! Thursdays

Pump It:
Total Body strength training class utilizing barbells and dumbbells, abs and stretch. Thursdays

Cardio Dance:
High intensity workout that incorporates cardio step along with sculpting work using light hand weights, exertubing, abs and stretch.   Mondays  Tuesdays  Wednesdays  Saturdays

Step & Sculpt:
High intensity workout that incorporates cardio step along with sculpting work using light hand weights, exertubing, abs and stretch.   Tuesdays  Fridays

Double Step:
Class utilizes 2 or more steps with multiple directions, abs and stretch steps. (Intermediate Level Class)    Thursdays  Saturdays

Mix It Up:
Cardio step and/or cardio dance, stability ball with weights, abs and stretch.   
Mondays
  Wednesdays  Thursdays

Total Body Conditioning:
Cardio conditioning followed by total body resistance training and core training using light hand weights, props, abs and stretch.    Wednesdays  Fridays

Mat Pilates:
This Class dramatically improves strength, flexibility, balance, core strengthening, spinal elongation, coordination and posture.   Tuesdays  Wednesdays  Thursdays   Fridays

Mat Pilates with Props:
A traditional mat pilates format that incorporates the Stability Ball, bands, Pilates Ring, Mini Ball or the Bosu. This class will take you beyond the basics of mat pilates to facilitate even greater core and balance training.   Mondays  Tuesdays

High-Low/Core:
35 minutes of traditional California-Style High-Low Aerobics followed by core and balance exercises that incorporate basic yoga poses and props.   Mondays

Cardio Hip Hop:
High energy street dance movements choreographed to today's hottest music.   Wednesdays

Kick-n-Pump:
30 min of cardio kickboxing followed by 30 min of total body resistance Training.   

Fat Burner:
High Intensity interval class incorporating high/low impact aerobics and callisthenic moves with weights. Increase metabolism and burn fat!   

Boot Camp:
Intervals of cardio activity with upper and lower body strength work and core conditioning.
Wednesdays

Cardio Dance and Tone:
High-Energy dance moves followed by total body toning using light weights exertubing.
Tuesdays    Wednesdays

Core Stretch:
30 minutes of core-specific exrcises that focus on the deep abdominal and back muscles, followed by 30 minutes of total body stretch.    Fridays

Dancer's Body Toning:
This class is geared towards toning, stretching and strengthening the entire body.   Fridays

Muscle Works: Its Back!!
15 Minutes of a cardio warm-up followed by 45 min of total body toning and sculpting using dumbells, exertubing and sometimes the stability ball or benches, abs and stretch.

Yoga Classes

Power Yoga:
This invigorating class incorporates sun salutations with a varying series of postures to further develop balance, strength and flexibility.
Tuesdays    Saturdays

Ashtanga Yoga:
This high energy athletic practice consists of performing a long series of traditional postures integrated with a specific breathing technique which gives a connective rhythm to the workout.
Thursdays

Total Yoga:
This class will develop strength, stamina, flexibility and deep breathing. Releasing tension is just one of the benefits of this class as you achieve physical and mental well-being.
Mondays    Tuesdays

Yoga Flows:
This class gracefully links rhythmic breath with natural alignment of flowing and sustained postures to encourage wellness and vitality.   Fridays

Candle Light Yoga Flows:
This class will develop strength, stamina, flexibility and deep breathing. Releasing tension is just one of the benefits of this class as you achieve physical and mental well-being.   Thursdays

Indoor Cycling Classes

Cardio Cycle:
This invigorating class incorporates sun salutations with a varying series of postures to further develop balance, strength and flexibility.   Offered Every Day.   Schedule

Cycle Rage: (starts Oct. 9th)
Take your ride to a whole new level while you challenge and invigorate your cardiovascular system!  Mondays


Pilates

Intro Pilates Classes:
During this one hour class, each participant uses the Pilates Allegro Reformer to learn the basics in developing core control, strength, balance and coordination. You will learn shoulder and upper back stabilization for improved posture and ease of movement.   Schedule


Open Allegro Pilates:
This 1 hour class takes the reformer to the next level and challenges each participant in developing overall body awareness and core strength with a faster paced class while incorporating the "Tower of Power."   Schedule

Pool Schedule

Hydro Fit:
Open for all levels of fitness. This is a great class for toning, strengthening and building a strong cardiovascular system.   Mondays   Tuesdays    Wednesdays   Thursdays    Fridays

Kids Swim Lessons:
For ages 3 years and older from beginning to advanced. Reservations at front desk. Must be potty trained!    Mondays   Wednesdays


Master Swim:
Open to all that can swim laps. There will be a coach on deck to instruct, guide and encourage you as you improve.    Tuesdays   Thursdays

Lap Swimming:
Use of lanes may be limited, or unavailable during Hydro Fit Classes depending on class size. If members are waiting for a lane, please share!    Everyday   Schedule

Family Swim:
For ages 3 years and older on Saturday and sunday only, 2-7pm. Parents must be with children at all times. Please, children are not allowed in spa or steamroom!    Saturdays   Sundays
