New Group Fitness Schedules will be out on May 14th, 2008

The new Group Fitness Schedule will start on May 14th, 2008 and will feature two sessions of Zumba per week!
Join Molly on Wednesdays at 8:00 am, and
John on Wednesdays at 4:30 pm!

Zumba fuses hypnotic latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic workout system that will blow you away! This Exercise in Disguise will leave you wondering whether or not it was a workout or a party!

Intro Level, Session 1 will start on June 1st, 2008!

If you are "Water Safe", (Know Basic Swim Skills), then dust off your bike, lace up your running shoes

Sports West Members Challenge yourself to a Great Race for a Great Cause!

Sunday, June 1st at 8:00 am!

You can run a 5k, 10k or a 1/2 Marathon. Running a race is a great way to help you meet your fitness goals, have a great time outdoors and help out the American Lung Association. You still have time to train! The course is FAST, so you can go for a PR too!

Your participation in this event will help the American Lung Association of Nevada to prevent and cure lung diseases.

Sports West's "Biggest Loser " Boot Camp will soon be starting Session III! You've heard the rave reviews, seen the weight-loss data and read the testimonials. Now its your turn to get ready for the Ultimate Weight Loss Challenge! Participants have lost up to 20 or more pounds in 8 weeks!

Boot camp will run three times per week, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. You can choose between the early session; 5:45 am to 6:45 am or the afternoon session; 1:30 pm till 2:30 pm.

May 5, - June 13th, 2008

Cost: $270.00 for the 6-week session.

Well, one way to make sure that they are is to know what your minimum and maximum heart rates are. That way, you can make sure that you are in your target range! Simply fill in your age in the form below. The Minimum rate reflects 60% of your max, which would be the lowest rate you register for a workout. This would be for easy workout days. The Maximum rate reflects 85%, which would be the highest rate you should reach during your workouts. This would be the rate you would sustain for a very strenous workout.
